• PM Told Fedral Cabinet Repatriation Process IPDs Completed in Months


    ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday told the Federal Cabinet that the repatriation process of internally displaced persons (IDPs) would be completed within a month.
    According to the channel, the cabinet meeting presently underway here with PM Gilani in chair is mulling over the repatriation and rehabilitation of IDPs affected from military’s offensive in Malakand division.
    He said that the government is doing its best to overcome the sufferings of displaced persons.
    The PM also took the Cabinet on board on his meeting with Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh and other engagements in NAM summit held recently in Egyptian tourist resort of Sharm-El-Sheikh, including.
    The PM termed his meeting with Singh pleasant, saying that they discussed a variety of issues of bilateral interest and agreed to resolve all outstanding issues via dialogue.
    The cabinet would also deliberate on and approve new trade policy due to be announced later today, it was reported.
