• Dogar Case, CJ Says to Hear Arguments


    ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday resumed the hearing of much-anticipated case regarding the appointment of two ad hoc judges in Sindh High Court.
    A 14-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is hearing the case, it was reported.
    Earlier, when the bench began the hearing former Attorney General Malik Abdul Qayyum told the court that he was ready to present his arguments on the constitutional status of the Chief Justice ship of former CJ Abdul Hameed Doagar.
    Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry said during the hearing that the bench was ready to hear the arguments on the status of former CJ Dogar.
