LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) has cut off ties with MPA Shumaila Rana and her resignation may come any time today (Thursday).
The party sources said she told the two-member investigative committee that one of her friends gave her these cards as payment of committee installment; however, she could not answer the question, ‘Why did she use cards of any other woman and sign in her stead?’
The committee members said it was proved on July 12 that 80 percent evidences go against Shumaila; but, she was not prepared to resign then.
According to sources, when she appeared before the committee, her eyes appeared swollen owing to weeping; however, she was confident in relating her story.
According to sources, PML-N leadership is sure of footage and it has got it confirmed with complainant’s brother and owner of jewellery shop.
